Like every year, the underlying assumption of the conference is its strong practical aspect. “By Practitioners for Practitioners” is the slogan to motivate the conference organizers – the Polish Association for IT System Quality (SJSI) and the Computerworld weekly.
The guests invited: lecturers, specialists and managers of such companies as: Software Engineering Institute, TESSCO Eurocopter, GE Money Bank, Polkomtel, Commercial Union, PKO BP will share their expertise in the area of IT system quality.
The key objective of the conference is to enable exchanging experience and opinions between representatives of different sectors on issues related to multi-aspect view of the quality of software and IT systems in the processes of creating, contracting, maintaining and auditing them.

We invite to a lecture to be given during the conference by Ms. Monika Braun, Software Mind Quality Director ‘Quality in the Software Production Process’.
Summary of the lecture: IT companies which want to achieve better and better results and deliver products of increasingly high quality, tend to decide to define and implement the software production process (SPP). Companies using known models or methodologies of project execution are aware that efficient process is an important factor towards project success. The definition and implementation of SPP is one of the first steps in the quality assurance process. Effective SPP also contains the test process, which covers the quality control area. The presentation will be divided into two parts, each of them will describe quality in the software production process from the point of view of quality assurance and control.
During the presentation the following will be defined:
- persons responsible for quality in the process
- persons to ensure quality in the process
- quality areas for each phase of the process
- role of quality in the process
- process quality control
The last part of the presentation will provide a brief description of quality in the layer of risk management and change management.
