The Festival is organized by members of Scientific Circles of Cracow’s four universities: Jagiellonian University, University of Economics, AGH University of Science and Technology and Craco University of Technology.
What distinguishes it from other events is the fact that it is created by students for students, and therefore it precisely meets their needs, and the festival itself functions as a forum for exchanging information and experience in the area of information technology between experts and the audience.
The Festival consists of series of lectures and numerous accompanying events. The previous three editions covered a total of nearly 50 lectures which were attended by several thousand participants.
Festival guests will include authorities from the Polish and international IT environment. Among them are Joe Armstrong, Chad Fowler, Gilad Bracha, Michael Foord, Krzysztof Diks.
We particularly invite to:
- The lecture by Jan Mrzygłód, Technical Team Lead at Software Mind, entitled. "Introduction to AJAX and integration methods on the JEE. Will AJAX clean other techniques?", to be held on Thursday, March 6 at 12.20-01.05 pm. and
- the workshop led by Marcin Nowrot, Senior Software Engineer at Software Mind, entitled "From zero to WWW applications within 45 minutes (developing applications on Weblogic10 + Stateless EJB Beans + Struts2)". The workshop will be held on Friday, March 7 at 12.15-01.00. pm.
We heartily invite Festival participants to the Software Mind company stand, where they can become acquainted with current job offers and the information on the recruitment process as well as take part in a number of competitions.
