The IT Education Supporting Foundation PROIDEA and Software Mind invite to the 2nd editio of the conference Java Developers Day 2007, to be held on October 26, 2007 in Krakow.
|
The guest of honour will be Bill Burke, principal designer at JBoss, Inc. and c-author of ‘Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0.’, who will deliver a speech entitled.: ‘Practical usage of EJB3 and JPA’. Another speaker at the conference will be Jonas Boner with his presentation ‘Open Source Network-Attached Memory and JVM-level Clustering’.
We particularly recommend the presentation entitled ‘MapReduce in Java – Hadoop’, to be led by Mr Dariusz Żbik, Team Leader at Software Mind.
The Hadoop framework is the implementation of the concept of MapReduce simultaneous processing in the Java language, developed by Google. The concept assumes splitting the processing into independent operations called map and reduce operating on key-value pairs. The solution minimizes the needs for synchronization in the distributed environment and enables the continuation of processing in case of failure of some of the compute nodes. The environment is intended for storing large data sets and effective access to them while processing. The presentation contains framework description and practical examples of using and debugging a code being activated.
During the conference Software Mind also invites you to participate in the Java Competition. The first prize is an iPod. For more details visit the Software Mind stand. We cordially invite you |
