The Monopol Hotel is running the complete Software Mind IPTV Solution system. The Implementation began in February this year, and since April the complete system with IPTV services has been made available to guests.

The Software Mind IPTV Solution is an integrated information-entertainment system designed for hotel and apartment house market. As a result of flexibility and ability to adapt the developed functionality and services, the area of possible applications of the solution is very wide depending on individual customer needs.

Standard features of the solution include, among others, the following: delivering television signal in SD/HD quality, TV recording, VoD service and additional services based on the IPTV technology (weather forecast, news, information about the city, Hotel, etc.). The system is also a multimedia communication channel enabling the transmission of information to selected customers as well as to selected receivers in public areas. The Software Mind IPTV Solution enables adjustment of television screens to the brand of a client, which significantly supports the building of a consistent and professional image of a company.

The main technical difference between this system and traditional television is the replacement of infrastructure based on copper wiring with IP networks with the possibility of offering interactive services. The Software Mind IPTV Solution is a fully digital platform, which guarantees high-quality TV signal and gives the opportunity to provide additional services via a TV screen. The system also enables remote management and data monitoring, dynamic content management as well as fast TV channels adaptation to meet the customers demands.
 

Software Mind S.A. solution was created based on the Snap TV system developed by a Norwegian company, with which Software Mind S.A. signed a partnership agreement. According to the contract Software Mind S.A. will be the only partner of  the Snap TV on the Polish market in terms of hospitality market and sport stadiums. This provides the Polish producer with exclusive rights to use, develop and sell of the Snap TV system in the whole area of Poland.
