The project makes Software Mind provide the Sales Support System based on own Software Mind CRM Telco platform, an Analytical CRM system making use of Business Objects reporting tools, and a state-of-the-art system for online processing of clients (eBOK) based on the Software Mind eCare application. An important milestone in the project will be the integration of Software Mind solutions with the ones that currently exist in Telefonia Dialog. This will be done in SOA architecture, making use of IBM Web Sphere series products.
“The main reason behind the launching of the IT Sales Support Information System (SIS) is to support the Sales Department, which processes the most difficult, mission-critical tasks for Dialog, namely wins the clients and revenue. This is even more important as the operator is expanding its network to cover the entire territory of Poland, at the same time dynamically increasing the range of products and services” said Filip Szanduła, Director of the IT and Telephony Organisation Division at Dialog SA
“The operation of the sales department, client care included, without efficient IT support is as labour consuming as tiresome in the increasingly difficult and challenging market. The other strategic goal behind the project is to implement the integrating platform (WebSphere – IBM). This is an entirely novel old technology that will operate as an information ‘highway’ to which we will continue to plug in successive systems and applications. Performed this way, data exchange and ICT system integration will be of key importance for the efficient operation of the entire organisation.”
Under the terms of the contract, Software Mind SA will provide, besides own products, an advanced high accessibility platform in ‘blade’ type architecture (Hewlett-Packard), RDBMS Systems and OLAP from Oracle.
The approved project methodology assumes launching each of the subsystems in two stages: basic and advanced. Thanks to this approach, Telefonia Dialog will gain business advantage from the system within six months from the starting date of the project, a true rarity in contracts of that scale.
