| The European Union will contribute financially to the development of the Software Mind IPTV |

Software Mind SA has started its research and development work on creating an innovative Software Mind STB Intranet & TV solution. Financing of the work will be covered mostly by a grant which the company received under Measure 1.4 of the Operational Programme Innovative Economy 2007-2013.

The objective of the project is to provide network operators, ISPs (Internet Service Providers) with a complete "end-2-end" solution that is flexible, competitive, affordable and enables the control of television, the Internet and a set of dedicated applications by means of an STB (set-top-box) device and a TV set. The project will build an innovative, cost-effective STB device including software, so that the current Software Mind IPTV platform will be complemented by another important element.

With this solution, without the need to invest in expensive equipment (just using the TV and low-cost set-top box), individual users (ISP subscribers) will be free to enjoy high-speed Internet access and high-quality digital television (SD, HD). An additional objective of the project is to develop dedicated OTT (over-the-top) applications, available to subscribers via TV.
The recipients of the Software Mind IPTV solutions will be ISP operators on the Polish market and EU markets (Norway, Luxembourg, Germany) and North America. The project will last one and a half years, the combined amount of the project is PLN 4.51 million, the amount of funding is 1.48 million PLN, the target solution will be available from Software Mind SA in the fourth quarter of 2012.
